Banner Towing
Towing advertising texts is one of the most original and versatile ways to get a message across. Flying over large events? Wedding proposals? Flying along the beach? Flying in (large) formations? All these components are part of the duties of the advertising tow kite. Whereas previously, towing advertising texts required only a check-out. Hour requirements
For a Banner Towing Rating, the student pilot must have at least a CPL with 500 hours as captain. Training consists of:
- at least 4.5 hours of banner towing
- at least 5.5 hours of ground instruction
The theory
The theory portion for the Banner Towing Rating takes place during practical training. No additional theory exams are required.
Validity
The Banner Towing Rating always remains valid. Therefore, it cannot expire.
