Hour requirements
For a Single Engine Piston Class Rating, the student pilot must have at least an LAPL(A). The training consists of:
- at least 3 hours of flying
Validity
The SEP(Land) CLASS RATING is valid for two years. To extend the license or keep it valid, you must:
- to have a professional check administered by an examiner
- or in the last year at least 12 hours of flight time, of which 6 hours PIC with 12 takeoffs and landings of which 1 hour DBO with a flight instructor.
- If the class rating has expired, you must take a complete skills test with an examiner
If you have not done all of this in time, you will have to take the exam again.
