A radiotelephony license is required to talk over the radio in controlled airspace.

Classification RT training

An RT course consists of two modules:

• VFR module required for LAPL(A), PPL(A) and CPL(A).
• IFR module required for IR(A), CB-IR(A) and BIR(A).

Validity

The RT license is valid indefinitely and therefore does not expire.
